Erwin-Peter Diekwisch (12 August 1920 – 20 August 2013)〔http://www.saladeguerra.com.br/2013/09/nota-de-falecimento-erwin-peter.html〕 was a Hauptmann in the Luftwaffe during World War II and a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership.
